iLumen is an international (Belgian-based) engineering and solutions company in the solar business with its ahead-of-the-curve R&D department that focuses on solutions to monitor PV systems, to help increase the yield and to ease up the maintenance process.
iLumen translates its knowledge and expertise to two objectives:
1) Focusing on the optimal functioning of solar panel plants
2) Extending lifetime of solar panels in order to permanently achieve a return on investment
Products
iLumen developed the PIDbox, a patented device that regenerates solar panels that suffer from efficiency losses due to Potential Induced Degradation (PID). Because of PID the solar panels degrade faster and therefore don’t achieve the expected return during their lifetime.
The PIDbox of iLumen increases the yield of solar panels and extends their lifetime. PIDbox solutions are available for small and medium (PIDbox Mini) and for large PV projects (PIDbox). The device is currently sold in more than 34 countries.
Next to the PIDbox solutions, iLumen also offers meters to monitor the performance of PV installations.
